Project Setup

The Project Dashboard

  • In the top left hand side of the Dynomapper dashboard, select "Create Project"

  • Select "Create From URL"

  • If your project's robots.txt would block the crawler's user agent (like on a dev server), turn off "follow robots.txt"

  • If your URL has http basic authentication in use (the popup alert authentication for dev servers), add the username and password under authentication

  • Click "Start Crawling"

Scanning

The audit dashboard

Once a Project has been created, an audit will be available in the application on the left automatically. Here you can see issues affecting SEO on the site.

Schedule Scan

  • In the audit dashboard, select the triple dot dropdown in the top right hand side

  • Select "Schedule Crawl"

  • Select your scan frequency

Notifications

Notification preferences can be edited in the top right under "Preferences". The notifications are sent to the owning email account.
